But ill give you a few words anyway as I know you all love my stories.! Since this pic we have the wall plates and straps on (the wooden plates are on the floor by the left wall in this pic) Its poured down a few times since my last update and we have had no Andy on site for a day while it did :-( . Today we were there with Andy and as he was finishing it hailed like its never hailed before so we hid in our "cleaned out" out building because yes yet again I had a fire. This week we are aiming to get the roof trusses on and in place, the I beam over the door in place hopefully as we already have the small ones over the other 2 doors, were awaiting another tile sample for the roof so we can decide on them. All that and in the mean time Alan has a new boiler and loads of pipework so his back boiler is silent (for the 1st time in years!!) and Andy has replaced an end roof tile at Alans that blew off last week. Sue & I started on the outbuildings as we have an initial plan of action there too that involves me burning stuff, us knocking down a wall then Andy making all the walls nice and good again with bricks from Bridgemere Reclamation which has been slowly increasing its stock holding in the last 7 days.
Where is Bridgemere Reclamation getting it's stock from ?????
ReplyDeleteAll the stock is either rejected from the building site (bricks damaged or too dark) or removed from the surrounding area, like the stone slabs that came from the edge of the old drive.
